Week 3-#5 Flickr

Having never used Flickr before, I searched for a topic that interests me. Wow, Flickr has photos of WOW (World of Warcraft). This is the address to the photo I chose-http://www.flickr.com/photos/ccmcornell/2751713165/. I chose this image because the next expansion is coming out in November. Certain lucky players, including several from my game guild, were able to play the expansion before its release. My husband and I (and every other Warcraft player I know) are eagerly awaiting the expansion's realease so we can play new characters, like Death Knights, explore new areas, and take our characters on new quests.

Flickr is a very cool site and I am eager to explore more images of things I am interested in.

Meet Wilderwoman

Since I finally have a few minutes to work on my blog, I wanted to introduce Wilderwoman. She is my main Avatar in World of Warcraft and kind of like my digital counterpart. This is an older picture when she was still at level 63. I recently got her to level 69 so her armor has changed a bit. I'll post new pictures when I can.

Week 1-Lifelong learning

After reading through the 23 things and watching the tutorial, I am excited about learning new ideas and becoming more familiar with new technologies. I'm also a bit nervous since I'm not that tech savy. I'm looking forward to working with Flicker and learning about RSS feeds since I know very little about either one. I really like the way the program is designed in steps. When projects come up-big or small-I always tell myself to take baby steps if the project seems overwhelming. The important thing is to move ahead, not back. I am a BIG fan of Disney wisdom so to quote the Robbinsons "keep moving forward" and Dorrie from Finding Nemo-just keep swimming, just keep swimming. :)

Hope I'm doing this right! :)

Greetings! This is my first blog so I am very excited. I really want to learn more about technology and the internet.
